If you’re interested in hiring the space, as a film / photo location, then please fill out this enquiry form and one of our events team will get back to you!
Down Abbot Street, tucked just off Kingsland Road, is one of Bootstrap’s community event spaces – a World War Two bunker.
Originally used to seek refuge from bombs in the Second World War, Bootstrap has since used the space to host gallery exhibitions, immersive theatre productions and events.
The bunker was originally built over 60 years ago and has had little restoration work done to it since. For this reason we only hire out the space as a location for a film or photo shoot.
