Andre Dos Santos has spent the best part of ten years documenting and exploring the streets of New York’s outer boroughs with his two trusty Rolleiflex TLR’s and other vintage medium-format cameras. Having spent three years wandering the often deserted and remote parts of the Bronx, it’s Dos Santos’ photographs of this borough that represent his largest body of work and illustrate the scenery and streets that remain a strong inspiration in his work today.

Gallery Opening hours 9.00 am - 5.00 pm Monday to Friday.

Exhibition runs from the 13th March 2015 to the 12th of April and entry is free.

The very first Bootstrap Company Fun Run is taking place on Saturday 28th March, 2015 in East London's most beautiful green space - Victoria Park.

CAUSE: Bootstrap Company was setup in 1977 to provide startup space and enterprise support for local people. We run the innovative education programme Bootstrap Campus - to provide a pathway for local 16-24 yr olds to get into work. We do this through running workshops, creating work placement opportunities and we have just launched a 'enterprise hub' to support young entrepreneurs.

With your help - we want to dramatically increase the scale of this work creating more opportunities for local young professionals to transition into work.

Sara Turnbull, Bootstrap CEO, "There is still high inequality and high youth unemployment in Hackney. Bootstrap are working to create a space and structure for local young people to connect with Hackneys buzzing new creative economy."

None of this would be possible without FUNDS. Your support will be vital in helping Bootstrap deliver our social mission.

Lets all get fit, have fun, and raise funds! A wonderful chance for everyone in the extended Bootstrap community to get together and celebrate health, happiness and wellbeing! Whether you're a tenant, a Bootstrap Campus resident, a Dalston Roof Park lover, a supporter of Bootstrap, fitness fanatic or first timer - this run is for you!

We aim to raise £10,000, and need your running help to do it!

There will be a registration fee of £10.
This guarantees you a place in the race, a goodie bag, and covers the cost of organising the run.

The Merci Marie Cafe is open!

Merci Marie is a new cafe delivering many old favourites with a delicatessen's twist. The cafe is the brainchild of Marie Gonfond who hails from Provence, France.

She truly undertands the importance of an exciting meal during a working day. Her distinct flavours are a welcome addition to Dalston's food circuit.

The cafe is located on the roof and is open from 12-3 Monday to Friday for the summer.

On Friday nights the cafe is transformed in to "Sweet Friday" a pop up dining club for people who are serious about supper!
